I love your products! Where is your store?
Thanks for your interest in our shop! We are in the northeast Atlanta, Georgia area and work out of a studio based in a private home. Currently, 4 Paws Pottery does not have a 'brick and mortar' store. We do, however, have an online store on this website , as well as at Etsy store !
We also visit a selection of craft shows in the southeastern United States in Autumn. You can see our show schedule here. (link coming soon)
How can I contact you?
The best way to contact us is through email at Candice.Popp@4PawsPottery.com.
What are your products made of? Do you use molds?
Our products are made of 100% Stoneware clay. We do not use molds; each piece is made by hand! Stoneware is one of the strongest ceramic products currently in use.* Our products are not just beautiful, but are extremely durable, and meant to be used often!
* Please remember: Our products are extremely durable, but they are not indestructible.
Can I use your products in the oven, microwave or dishwasher?
Yes, it is safe to use our pottery in your oven, microwave and/or dishwasher. Our products are not just beautiful, but are extremely durable, and meant to be used, daily!
I have an idea regarding something I'd like you to (re)create. How can we discuss this?
If you want to know if we can create (or recreate) an item you have in mind, send us an email with the details, and any images that show what you have in mind. We will let you know whether or not we can create what you have in mind.
How can I share my feedback with you?
Do you create items for all pets?
Our shop specializes in creating ceramic items and keepsakes for pets with four paws! While we do love birds, lizards, exotic fish, horses, and the like, we simply had to draw the line somewhere!
Currently, the animals we make products for are: dogs, cats, and small animals (bunnies, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, and gerbils.)
I'd like to see your products in person! Do you have a list of craft show appearances?
We love getting to see our fans in person and would love to meet you too! We tend to attend a selection of craft shows in the southeastern United States in the Fall. You can see our schedule here! (link coming soon)
Where are your products made?
We are in the United Stated, the northeastern part of the Atlanta area, in Georgia to be specific.
Who makes your products?
All of our products are made with our paws- I mean hands! Candice, the owner of 4 Paws Pottery, does all of the throwing and striping. Candice has 2 human assistants- Carrie & Selene- who keep the shop running in countless ways. Candice's other 2 assistants are her Pembroke Corgi's Baron & Earl. They provide entertainment, morale boosting, and a sharp reminder to stop working in the studio at 7pm... their dinnertime!
Are your products safe for pets? Are they lead free?
Our products are not just beautiful, but are extremely durable, and meant to be used. All of our products are safe for both pet, and human, use. And, all of our products are lead free!
Yes, our products are safe for both people and pets! All of our products are lead free, and oven/dishwasher/microwave safe!
Can these bowls or plates be used outdoors?
Yes, our products can be used outdoors, with a few precautions. While our bowls and jars are very durable, they are not indestructible. If being used on concrete/cement, it would be wise to put a placemat underneath any of our items.
Additionally, water bowls should not be left outside if temperatures are expected to be near or below freezing. As water freezes, and expands, it might cause the bowl to crack.
Where can I see reviews of your products?
We've got tons of reviews you can peruse about our products! You can view customer reviews here!
We've also had our products reviewed by several bloggers. You can read those reviews here. (link coming soon)
Do you make pottery for people (as in dish ware)?
Our customers often come up with THE most creative projects for us! And yes, we have created a set of tableware, as well as holiday cookie plates in the past (for both cat and human use, respectively, of course.) We'd love to do that again. If you're considering this, just send us an email and let us know what you have in mind!
